Broiled Steak Skewers with Creamy Tahini Garlic Sauce
The ultimate low carb, high protein dinner or appetizer recipe, these broiled steak skewers are tender, juicy and drizzled with a creamy tahini garlic sauce. Serve with rice or warm pita!
In a large bowl, mix olive oil with garlic, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss in steak cubes and let sit for 15 (or up to 24 hours in the fridge).
To form the skewers, thread steak alternating with red onion and bell peppers.
1 medium red onion, 1 red bell pepper
Preheat broiler to high. Broil skewers for 2–3 minutes per side, for a medium-rare to medium inside (more or less to reach desired doneness.) Let beef rest 10 minutes.
While beef is resting, begin making tahini garlic sauce by whisking tahini, lemon juice, garlic, salt and pinch of cayenne in a small bowl. Slowly whisk in warm water until you've reached desired consistency.
1/4 cup tahini, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, 1 clove garlic, warm water (to thin), salt, cayenne
To serve, drizzle beef skewers with tahini garlic sauce and serve over rice pilaf or with warm pita bread. Garnish with fresh parsley.
