Method
1.Preheat grill.
2.In large frying pan, melt butter; cook mushrooms and garlic, stirring, about 5 minutes. Add stock; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, about 10 minutes or until mushrooms are cooked as desired.
3.Meanwhile, trim end from bread; cut into eight slices. Toast bread both sides; divide among serving plates.
4.Stir herbs into mushrooms; serve on toast.
