Method
1.Combine berries and sugar in medium saucepan. Split vanilla bean, scrape seeds into berry mixture; add bean to pan. Cook over medium heat about 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until berries begin to soften. Cool.
2.Transfer berry mixture to container, then cover and refrigerate overnight.
3.Discard vanilla bean; serve berries with yogurt.
Use any type or combination of berries you like. We used a combination of boysenberries, raspberries and cherries.
