Preheat the oven to 180°C (160°C fan-forced). Grease and line two large baking trays.
Place cake mix into a large bowl. Add butter and 2Â tablespoons water and stir until well combined. Add sultanas and stir until evenly mixed through.
Place crushed cornflakes into a bowl. Roll tablespoons of cake mixture into balls. Roll each ball in cornflakes, pressing gently to adhere. Place 3cm apart on prepared trays, pressing down to flatten slightly.
Bake for 12 minutes or until light golden. Cool cake mix cookies on trays.
