Marinating chicken drumsticks in a plastic bag, with a bowl of spice rub, for chicken wings and drumsticks recipes

An easy way to marinate chicken drumsticks

Resealable plastic bags provide a convenient method for marinating or seasoning chicken drumsticks. Simply add the chicken and marinade or spice mix to the bag, squeeze out excess air, and seal it tightly. Gently massage the bag to evenly coat the chicken. Lay the bag flat on a tray in the refrigerator, turning it occasionally for even absorption. To reduce waste, consider washing and reusing the bags or recycling them at a soft plastics facility if available in your area. Alternatively, opt for reusable silicone food bags.
